DAY 01: ARRIVE NEW DELHI

Visiting India for the 1st time? Wanting to travel to the most traveled places of India? This very famous tour is known as the Golden Triangle Tour of India, the most popular tourist circuit of India. The trip comprises of the three famous cities, Delhi (The Capital), Agra (City of the Taj) and Jaipur (Pink City of India) which are all famed cities for its grandeur, glory and history. |

Namaste & welcome to the capital of India, New Delhi. Just a century ago, the British moved the seat of their empire from Kolkata to Delhi and it has been the Capital of India ever since. With its rich history that goes back many centuries, Delhi showcases an ancient culture. Being the Seat of many Powerful Empires in the past we can trace this today from its many carefully-preserved monuments, ancient forts and tombs. The city is as old as the epic Mahabharata. This town was known as Indraprastha, where the Pandavas used to live. |

DAY 02: TRAVEL TO JAIPUR 260KM/5HRS | EXPLORE THE PINK CITY | BAZAAR SHOPPING (B, L, D)

After breakfast at hotel proceed to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, the Desert City of India. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and founded what is now called The Pink City. The story goes that in 1876, the Prince of Wales visited India on a tour. Since the color pink was symbolic of hospitality, the Maharaja of Jaipur painted the entire city pink. The pink that colors the city makes for a marvelous spectacle to behold. Jaipur is famous for its Ancient Stories, Palaces, Forts, Gemstones, traditional fabrics, handicrafts, and also for the traditional Rajasthani Cuisine. |

Upon arrival proceed to hotel for lunch and check-in. |

Thereafter go on a drive around the Characterful Old City of Jaipur. Many of the top attractions in Jaipur are located here, which is distinctively painted pink. |

DAY 03: FULLDAY EXPLORE THE PALACES AND FORTS OF JAIPUR | DARGAH MISKINSHAH (B, L, D)

After breakfast at hotel proceed to visit the Palace of Winds, Hawa Mahal. This unusual example of Rajput architecture was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawaj Pratap Singh. It was made so that the ladies of the palace could look out over the street, from the small windows, unobserved. There are 953 of these windows in total, spread over five levels. |

You will then proceed on top of a hill to the Amer Fort, said to be One of the Most Magnificent Palaces in India. This majestic building with its maze-like passages and serpentine staircases is an architectural masterpiece and with significant importance in Indian history. The Fort is clad in pink and yellow sandstone and is a part of an extensive complex. Built by one of the most trusted generals of Akbar, Maharaja Man Singh I in the year 1592, Amer Fort served as the main residence of the Rajput Rulers. The Fort overlooks Maota Lake, which is the major source of water for the Amer Palace. The fort includes halls, palaces, temples, and many other structures. Ascend the imposing fort on a painted Elephant. You’ll wander among glittering inlays and the Hall of Mirrors. |

After lunch at hotel, continue on the tour of Jaipur. |

Explore the Jaipur City Palace. The palace is divided into a series of courtyards, buildings and gardens including the Chandra Mahal and the Mubarak Mahal. The museum showcases various unique handcrafted products and other things that belong to the royal heritage of the City Palace. The facade itself is designed with acute and detailed handiwork and showcases a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture styles. Among the various forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture. |

Visit Jantar Mantar the Largest Stone Astronomical Observatory in the World. This ancient study boasts of nineteen instruments built out of stone and brass and was built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh in 1727-33. The intelligent construction and placement of these instruments allowed the observers to note the position of heavenly bodies with their naked eye alone. Time has failed to lay dust upon this engineering marvel and it still works as well as it used to in the olden times. |

Evening visit Dargah Miskinshah It is said, about 140 years back, Hazrat Miskin Shah Baba, a fakir, traveled all the way from Lahore to Jamshedpur. This was at a time when the town of Jamshedpur was not even formed. It was all jungle amidst the Dalma Range. He died here and his tomb stands between two huge banyan trees. DAY 04: TRAVEL TO AGRA 270KM/6HRS | FATEHPUR SIKRI | TAJ MAHAL | AGRA FORT (B, L, D)

After early breakfast drive to Agra a city on the banks of the Yamuna river. Famous for its Mughal architecture and for being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal - a monument of incredible elegance and architectural perfection. |

En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, a city that’s predominantly made of Red Sandstone. Founded in 1571 century by Mughal Emperor Akbar, It is essentially a fortified city built by the king and had been the capital of his Empire for fifteen years. The Fatehpur Sikri Mosque is said to be, One of the Best preserved collections of Mughal architecture in India. Visit Buland Darwaza, Tomb of Salim Chishti and, Jama Masjid Mosque. |

Thereafter visit the Taj Mahal, The Monument of Love. An immense mausoleum of white marble, built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, the Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage. A UNESCO World Heritage Site One of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. |

Next visit the Agra Fort, the main residence of the Mughals. The fort was built by one of the greatest Mughal Emperor Akbar in the year 1573. It took more than 4000 workers and eight years of hardship to complete the fort. A UNESCO World Heritage Site this powerful fortress of red sandstone is about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. It is rumoured that Shah Jahan died in a tower here with a marble balcony with a view of the Taj Mahal. |

DAY 05: RETURN TO DELHI 220KM/4HRS | TOUR DELHI | SHOPPING | DEPART (B, L, D)

Evening proceed for Bazaar Shopping. Delhi is a fantastic place to shop. There's an astounding array of wonderful stuff : handicrafts, textiles, clothing, carpets, jewellery and a kaleidoscope of saris. The Bazaar's in Delhi estimate to have some 25,000 people within its confines at any given time and also attracts many foreign tourists. It is known as a place with the lowest prices. |
