DAY 01: ARRIVE ATHENS

Welcome to Athens. Our driver will meet with you at the airport. You will be transferred to your hotel for check in. |

DAY 02: ATHENS CITY TOUR (B)

After breakfast at hotel, you will depart for a photo stop at Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is the only stadium built out of white marble. |

Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus. You will then pass the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. |

Thereafter, pass by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church, and finally Acropolis where you will visit Propylaea the monumental entrance of the Acropolis, Temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon built by Ictinus, the Erechtheon with its Porch of Maidens. |

Proceed with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the Acropolis museum. The main attractions in the museum such as votives, artifacts of everyday life, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon Hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you. |

DAY 03: EXPLORE DELPHI > APOLLO TOUR (B, L)

After breakfast at hotel, we will pick you up from hotel and proceed journey to the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus - Levadia and Arachova. You will have short break before proceed journey to Delphi, the center of Ancient World - the “Omphalos” (Navel of Earth) - whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. |

On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. You will have lunch at modern village in Delphi. |

Thereafter, visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and Delphi Archaeological Museum showcasing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. |

DAY 04: ATHENS FREE LEISURE DAY (B)

After breakfast, you will have a free leisure day to explore on your own. You can visit the highest hill Lycabettus to see view of Athens, take optional tour of Argolis or daily cruise tour. |
