DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 01: ARRIVE CHIANG MAI > CITY TOUR > DOI SUTHEP TEMPLE (L, D)
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport, meet and greet with the tour guide and proceed for a city tour.
Chiang Mai is a laid-back city with less of a high-rise feel. Set in the jungle and mountains of Northern Thailand, this city is overflowing with gorgeous temples, religious sites, and an abundance of outdoor adventure.
Your first stop will be the historic Chiangmai City Moat, followed by a visit to the iconic Three Kings Monument and the ancient Chedi Luang Temple - "Temple of the Great Stupa" which is one of the most beautiful temples in Chiang Mai.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Doi Suthep Temple via a scenic cable car ride. Doi Suthep is the most important temple in Chiang Mai, perched high on Mount Doi Suthep and the wat is a beautiful example of northern Thai architecture.
In the evening, savor a traditional Khantoke dinner accompanied by a Thai cultural show that showcase the rich heritage of the region. Khantoke refers to the round pedestal tray used as a dining table during the meal.
Afterward, you'll check into your hotel for a restful night in Chiang Mai.
DAY 02: ELEPHANT SAFARI > FLOWER FARM > OTARU STREET (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a tour at Elephant Safari. Elephant show, 30-minute elephant ride, oxcart ride, bamboo rafting, and jungle buffet lunch are included in this program.
Afterward, visit the picturesque I Love Flower Farm - a must-visit destination for any flower lover with a breathtaking landscape that gives the feeling of walking through a lavender field (subject to availability).
Next to visit is Home Industries Village to witness the creation of various types of handicrafts, including silk, lacquerware, silver, stone cutting, jewelry, celadon, and teak-wood carving.
Thereafter, enjoy a complimentary visit to the newly opened OTARU Walking Street (Khlong Mae Kha). This Chiang Mai canal was nicely renovated to resemble Otaru Canal in Japan where you can stroll and take interesting pictures; therefore, it has become a chic spot for visitors in Chiang Mai.
Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Chiang Mai.
DAY 03: WAROROD MARKET > SILVER TEMPLE > 3D MUSEUM > THAI COSTUME PHOTOSHOOT (B, L, D)
Post breakfast, explore the bustling Warorod Market - a historical landmark, a long standing market, known for its variety of speciality Chiang Mai food and products.
Next, visit Wat Sri Suphan, the silver temple. It stands as one of the oldest and most significant temples in Chiang Mai. Built around the year 1500, this temple is a serene and majestic representation of Thai heritage.
Make a photo stop at Tha Pae Gate, one of the gates to enter the Old City (the town centre of Chiang Mai). To enhance your experience, you'll receive a free Thai Costume for your photo session.
Thereafter, enjoy a complimentary visit to 3D Illusion Art Museum. The first 3D Illusion Art Museum in Chiang Mai, founded by South Korean artist Mr. Jang Kyu Suk, showcases works by over 10 award-winning South Korean artists. Using illusion art, these interactive pieces invite spectators to feel like they are part of the artwork, creating a truly immersive experience.
Head to Central Festival Shopping Mall, the biggest and most happening mall in Chiang Mai.
Lastly, visit Nimman Shopping Street - a very lively commercial district. There are many tourists both at daytime and night time.
