After breakfast, begin the tour to visit Dolmabahce Palace, a magnificent structure blending various European architectural styles, built between 1843 and 1856 by the court architect Karabet Balyan for Sultan Abdulmecid. This three-storied palace, with 285 rooms and 43 halls, is known for its original decorations, furniture, and luxurious silk carpets and curtains. It surpasses all other palaces in the world in wealth and grandeur.
Next, you will visit the Rüstem Pasha Mosque, an exceptional work of Master Architect Sinan, known for its lavishly tiled interior. The İznik tiles, adorned with elegant floral designs, make this mosque unique among Sinan’s many creations.

Dolmabahce is the palace where the latest Ottomans Emperors resided then later it became the presidential palace of Ataturk.The area where Dolmabahçe Palace is located was originally a bay that had served as a natural harbour since antiquity. It is thought to be from here that Sultan Mehmed II (The Conqueror) had his ships hauled over a wooden ramp so as to launch them into the Golden Horn. The Ottoman naval fleet used to anchor in the bay and naval ceremonies were held here. The bay was filled in from the 17th century onwards, and so given the name “Dolmabahçe” (filled garden) and was used as an Imperial Garden. All the buildings in the complex prior to the 19th century were named “Be?ikta? Waterfront Palace”.The palace has 285 rooms, 44 halls, 68 toilets and 6 Turkish baths. As a monoblock building, it is the biggest palace in Turkey with a ground area of 14.595 m2.

The Galata Bridge that connects the old and new city is a bridge that spans the Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. Rustem Pasha Mosque has the beautiful and delicate examples of classical Iznik tiles dating back to the 16th century. It is a hidden gem of a mosque that some describe as a miniature Blue Mosque, without the crowds. These intricately designed blue tiles come in a wide variety of floral and geometric patterns. It’s a little tricky to find but it’s well worth it – the stunning beauty of the interior is matched by the feeling of finding a little oasis in the midst of a hectic area.

A castle that is home of local and international movies, Rumeli Fortress.
The fortress had three main gates next to the main towers, one side gate and two secret gates for the arsenal and food cellars next to the southern tower. There were wooden houses for the soldiers and a small mosque, endowed by the Sultan at the time of construction. Rumeli Fortress is a 550-year-old building located on the European side of the Bosphorus. Built during the Ottoman period, the fortress was built to prevent interference from the Black Sea during the siege of Constantinople.
