DAY 01: ARRIVE HANOI > CITY TOUR > TRAIN TO SAPA (Lunch/Dinner)
➤ Upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, you will be welcomed by our appointed tour guide at Noi Bai International Airport and then transfer to the city for check-in at your hotel (standard check-in time is from 2:00 PM onwards).
➤ After settling in, we will begin our Hanoi city tour, which includes visits to Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ba Dinh Square, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-Pillar Pagoda, Hanoi Old City Gate, Phung Hung Street (Trainline Street), Hoan Kiem Lake, The Huc Bridge, St. Joseph's Cathedral, Hanoi Opera House, and the Hanoi Old Quarter ~ The 36 Ancient Streets. Enroute, you’ll have the opportunity to sample local delights such as Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup), Banh Mi (Vietnamese baguette), and Egg Coffee (Hanoi-style coffee).
➤ Free time to enjoy shopping at local markets, where you can find souvenirs, local handicrafts, coffee powder, cashew nuts, and more.
➤ In the evening, gather at the agreed time and venue for dinner at a local restaurant, where you can savor the authentic Vietnamese dish Cha Ca (grilled fish).
➤ After dinner, transfer to Hanoi station for overnight trip to Sapa. Board the 4-berth cabin and depart around 10:00 PM from station.
DAY 02: SAPA VALLEY > CAT CAT VILLAGE (Lunch/Dinner)
➤ The train arrives at Lao Cai Station in Sapa between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM. After pickup from the station, transfer to Sapa Town (30km/1hour). Upon reaching Sapa, check into the hotel and proceed to transfer for a hearty breakfast (own expenses).
➤ Sapa is home to Fansipan, known as the "Roof of Indochina," which is the highest peak in Vietnam and the entire Indochina peninsula, standing at 3,143 meters (10,312 feet) above sea level.
➤ Embark on a walking tour to Cat Cat Village, home to the Black H'Mong ethnic group. The trek to Cat Cat Village is easy and enjoyable, located just a 30-minute walk from Sapa center. The path offers breathtaking views and a chance to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region. ➤ At 8:00 AM after breakfast at the hotel, meet your appointed tour guide, who will escort you on a walk to Sapa Town's Sun Plaza Station. Here, you will board the Muong Hoa Hiking Train to reach Sun World Fansipan Legend Station. The Sun World Fansipan Legend Combo Package includes the Muong Hoa train ride, cable car charges, entrance fees, a funicular ride to the peak of Fansipan Mountain, and a buffet lunch at Van Sam Restaurant.
