Here, the treasures of Tutankhamun lay alongside the grave goods, mummies, jewelry, eating bowls and toys of Egyptians whose names are lost to history. The Egyptian museum in Cairo houses over 120,000 artifacts, including the contents of Tutankhamen's tomb and most of the mummies that have been discovered since the 19th century. The museum's exhibits span from the beginning of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt (approximately 2700 BC) through the Greco-Roman period. |

Upon arrival in Luxor, meet your Egypt Egyptologist tour guide who will pick you up to Explore the West bank (Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut temple) & East Bank (the complex of Karnak and Luxor temple). |

Set off for the Valley of the Kings, where 64 of Eypts’s Pharaohs had their palatial resting places hewed into the sheer rock. Valley of the Kings was used for royal burials for the Kings, their families, and their possessions. In 1979, it became a World Heritage Site, as well as the rest of the Theban Necropolis. |

Head to the magnificent Luxor Temple, a grand temple complex dedicated to the god Amun. Take a walk through the site and admire its colossal statues, towering columns, and the impressive avenue of sphinxes that once connected Luxor and Karnak. |

Visit the Temple of Karnak, the largest religious complex in the world. Wander through its grand Hypostyle Hall, gaze at the towering columns, and discover the temple’s sacred lake, where rituals were once performed. |
