| DAY 01: ARRIVE > PROCEED TO THIMPHU (L, D)

The flight to Paro is one of the Most Spectacular in Entire Himalayas. |

Bhutan’s first gift to you as you disembark from the aircraft will be cool, clean fresh mountain air. After immigration formalities and baggage collection, you will be met by our representative and afterwards drive to Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan with enroute stop at Tamchog Lhakhang. The temple is located across the river from the Paro to Thimphu. |

On arrival in Thimphu, a unique city with unusual mixture of modern development alongside ancient traditions. The exploration of Thimpu begin with Thangtong Dewachen Nunnery. It is the only nunnery in the capital preserving the spiritual legacy of Thangtong Gyalpo. You may interact with some 60 nuns or so that has devoted their life to spirituality and Buddhism. |

Next visit to Tashichho Dzong. It is known for its majestic architecture, serving as Bhutan's government and the central monastic body. While also housing the office of the King of Bhutan. |

| DAY 02: THIMPHU VALLY TOUR (B, L, D)

After breakfast, Discovery Tour of Thimphu Valley begin. There are 2 options: |

Enjoy Wangditse Nature Trail Hike. The hike takes approximately 2 hours and the level of difficulty is easy. Drive uphill from Thimphu city, passing through the Mothitang area and make a stop at the Takin Reserve Center is the home to Bhutan’s national animal, the takin. Throughout the trail you get great view of the Thimphu city. The trail will bring you to the Wangtse Monastery. |

Visit National Memorial Chorten continuously circulated by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels. Construction of this landmark was the idea of Bhutan’s third king, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk (“the father of modern Bhutan”) who has wished to erect monument to world peace and prosperity. Completed in 1974 after his untimely death, it serves both as a memorial to the Late King and as a monument to peace. |

Thereafter proceed to the Buddha Point(Kuensel Phodrang). Located at a short drive from Thimphu city centre, visitors can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley from the Buddha point (KuenselPhodrang). You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley. |

Afterwards visit to Gagyel Lhundrup Weaving Centre. It is renowned for its dedication to preserving Bhutan’s traditional hand-weaving techniques. Proceed with Bhutan Post Office, you can create personalized postage stamps with their own photos. |

Visit the following places: The National Library, housing an extensive collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts; the Institute for Zorig Chusum (commonly known as the Painting School) where students undergo a 6-year training course in Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts and crafts. |

Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in Thimphu. Changangkha Lhakhang is renowned for its spiritual significance, panoramic city views and as a sacred site where local parents bring their newborns for blessings and names. |

| DAY 03: THIMPHU > PARO (B, L, D)

Explore Thimphu Town and Organic Vegetable Market. You can explore fresh organic produce and local spices. |

Later in the day, proceed to visit Ta Dzong, originally built as Watchtower, now as National Museum. The extensive collection includes antique Thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons & armour, household objects and a rich assortment of natural and historic artifacts |

Then visit Rinpung Dzong (Fortress of the heap of Jewels), which has a long and fascinating history. Along the wooden galleries lining the inner courtyard are fine wall paintings illustrating Buddhist lore such as four friends, the old man of long life, the wheel of life, scenes from the life of Milarepa, Mount. Sumeru and other cosmic Mandala. |

Afterwards explore to Paro Farmhouse. It offers a rich cultural experience through traditional Bhutanese cooking, archery, local hospitality, and immersion in rural farm life |

Along the way, visit the 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King, Songtsen Gampo. The building of this temple marks the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan. |

| DAY 04: PARO SIGHTSEEING TOUR (B, L, D)

After breakfast, excursion to Taktshang Monastery, Bhutan's most famous Monastery, (approx. 5hrs walk). Perched on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence it is called ‘Tiger’s Nest’. This site has been recognized as A most Sacred Place and visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. On 19 April, 1998, a fire severely damaged the main structure of building but now this Bhutanese Jewel has been restored to its original splendour. |

Next destination is explore the Traditional Hot Stone Bath (USD 25 per pax per bath your own expenses). The Traditional Hot Stone Bath is foundation of this Hot stone bath only-in-Bhutan experience consists of mineral stones collected from mountains and caves across Bhutan. |
